Using FM 8.5 in a Mac/PC environment on Server. ------
I have a portal with addresses (a single contact can have 5 or of these related records that are in a separate table). Because the related info could be similar (with the exception of some punctuation, I want to be able to allow someone to duplicate the data into a new record that they can edit. The only note is that they "type" filed would change at the same time of the duplication. I know duplication is not suggested, but it's really for the admins and not for the users to save some data entry time.
My original thought was to go to related records in the related table and then duplicate and return to the join table. The issue I come to is that it pulls up all related records instead of just the single desired related record.
Thoughts?
