Kathryn, If you run the gtrr script from a button on the portal row, that record will be selected in the actual table. Therefore you can dupe it and return to your original layout as you originally planned.
Keep in mind any field in the related table which has default data will dupe as the default rather than the field contents. -- Steve B.
