As noted previously on this forum, I am learning FM as part of converting a database with one file which has 463 fields. I have defined how this ought to be defined in a relational database in FM (7). My primary problem is now populating the defined relational tables with the data from the single original file. Many of the original fields become records in the new database.
Any ideas on how this might be done? I am somewhat conversant with scripts but have a lot to learn. Thank you. Ron Carr
