The one default I'd really like control over is vertical alignment,
which I almost always want to be "Centered" but still have to set
manually each time.
that's really silly, is it a design flaw that has never been fixed?
all other settings you can select in the menus without any field
selected actually affect the next field dropped on the layout, makes
no sense to be able to select this setting and not have it change
anything.
also when cleaning up older (or sloppy!) layouts i get extremely
bored having to type the specific values to adjust all fields on
the layout
Yes, here FMI has paid attention. Beginning with, I believe, Version
9, the "Arrange" toolbar has been divided
