I'm trying to install FM Server 10 on my Mac (10.5.7) but am not
allowed to because it says Filemaker Server 9 is installed. It is
not. Never has been.
So I have a conundrum: in order to uninstall Server 9 I'm supposed to
run the Admin Console to first stop FM server, but I obviously can't
do that because FMS 9 is not installed and I have no Admin Console.
I do, however, have FMA 9 installed (as well as FMA 10). Might FMS 10
think that FMA 9 is FMS 9? If so, must I uninstall FMA 9 in order to
install FMS 10?
Any suggestions?
