The third user did not have edit rights for layouts or scripts.

Sue,
The first question that comes to mind has to do with rights. If all
users have rights to edit scripts and layouts, then a user's
workstation could potentially create this situation. If that third
user didn't have edit rights, it sounds like a possible flaw in FM.

Should also have said that we are all working on Macs and I think

Hi folks,
I am really hoping someone has an easy answer for this one!
I have a large Filemaker Pro 10.1 file with multiple tables and
many layouts that have fields set to various fonts. Several
layouts include calculated text and number fields wherein the
fontsize, style, and font of the field information is specified
via the calculation. The file is accessed by multiple users via
Filemaker Server 10.
It was all working wonderfully this morning when we were testing
the new scripts I created to allow people to export pdfs of
multiple records/layouts to their own computers.
The script worked fine on my computer and on one other person's
computer.
Then a third person tried the script and it seemed to work fine
also.
However, when I re-opened the file a short time later on my
computer, suddenly all the fonts throughout the entire file,
including the calculated fields that had specified fonts in the
calculations, had changed to Lucinda Grand font.
Upon further investigation it turned out that all the pdfs
generated by the third user similarly had all fields in that font
(again including calculated fields that included different fonts
as part of the calculation). So, the suspicion is that the result
might have had something to do with settings on her computer. She
had all the fonts that were in use in the file on her computer.
We tried removing the file from the server and recovering it--and
that did restore the correct fonts in some layouts and some of the
calculated fields, but not all.
Is there anything else I could do that might restore ALL the fonts
in the file to the correct assigned ones?
Can anyone provide a clue as to why this might have happened? If
we have to, we could go to a backup file, but that will mean quite
a bit of lost work, and I worry that the same thing could easily
happen again unless we figure out what caused the problem.
Help!!
Thanks in advance.
