Wah ini lawakan bias jender, memperkuat stigma di masyarakat bahwa para suami itu pemalas, tukang menyeleweng, penjudi dan lain-lain, sementara isteri selalu digambarkan sebagai ibu rumah tangga yang jujur.
Selain itu, mentertawakan suami yang dipukul istri tidak bedanya dengan mempromosikan Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga. Dalam situasi begitu seharusnya suaminya minta visum ke dokter dan hasil visum tersebut dilaporkan ke polisi. KDRT adalah tindakan kriminal! Digambarkan juga bahwa suaminya tidak membalas pukulan istrinya yang sewenang-wenang itu.
