Well, I am at the stage where I have to have design rules working correctly
now. And I find that my 352-pin BGA device footprint with the escape
routine already added is a problem for the online DRC. How do I create a
rule that ignores the apparent short for the copper connected to the BGA pad
or, more desirably, get the system to assign the net for the BGA pad to the
connected copper, (the copper contained in the library part), so the
"interactive routing" can work properly with design rules fully enabled?

I may not be explaining this well but I hope someone gets the idea of the
problem. The manual doesn't specifically address building a rule that will
handle this and I can't find any way to add the net to the tracks in a
generalized way.

Thanks in advance,

Tim Hutcheson
