Symlink support makes sense and would be useful. As for Windows, I only use it when I have to (which is most days, unfortunately).
That said, where the target of a symlink is a directory, it would make sense to create a Windows shortcut. In a software development environment like where I work, this would be very useful as we share components between projects. And since each of our software components are organized into a folder for each component, we would only need symlinks to directories. (Not to say that I don't use symlinks to files. I do, but can easily get by without them inside working copies of my development projects.) _______________________________________________ fossil-users mailing list fossil-users@lists.fossil-scm.org http://lists.fossil-scm.org:8080/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fossil-users
