Hi Mike,

I ran your kernel and OS services packages on both 1.1 and 1.2. I'll give you
access to the 1.1 repository, and I'll send you a text file with the 1.2
results in a separate email.

On 1.1, our "public" server has quite a few processors to split the license
scan load:

- the kernel package
took an elapsed time of roughly 15 minutes to download and complete the license
analysis.
On a single processor this would have taken ~4 hours.

- OS services package
took an elapsed time of ~28 minutes
On a single processor this would have been a little over 5 hours.

On 1.2, (this is my development machine) these were run on a single processor:

- Kernel package (18.4 MB, 7,606 items unpacked)
18 minutes elapsed (3:14 to unpack, 14:40 for nomos license scan)

- OS services package (61.6 MB, 29,969 items unpacked)
44 minutes elapsed (9:42 to unpack, 34:40 for nomos license scan)

I think you can see why we are excited about 1.2.
