If you have the sdk available what happens out of interest if you try the ethernet jumper flash method described here http://acmesystems.it/?id=703
The advantage with this method is that it can recover you from a bricked (non booting) board, which if you only got halfway through the previous filesystem flash I presume you now have. Not used the ftp or http methods as generally I do all my dev work inside the phrozen SDK so the ethernet method is simplest for me. But from the errors it looks like either the network connection is getting lost during the flash process or you have dud flash ram on your board. As to the no HWID issue, that looks like something to do with the way you are creating your images. Not something I have seen here on the LX832 I have here
