"Computer Organization and Design" by Patterson and Hennessy ISBN 1-55860-604-1 ...is one I'm working through right now. Reasonably priced at ~$50 for 620 pages and about half as many more on the CDROM. As an added bonus you will learn Mips assembly. -d -- darren kirby :: Part of the problem since 1976 :: http://badcomputer.org "...the number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected..." - Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson, June 1972 _______________________________________________ freebsd-chat@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-chat To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
