Not so fast there, partner :-) Give folks more time to react. I really hate the default behavior of less where you can't quit via ^C or via paging through the end of file. I recall using systems where setting this to 10000 caused exiting from a shell to be a very long process. Maybe try 1000 first, before trying more.
