I'm running 4.7-STABLE on a Compaq Evo1000v, and am generally quite satisfied. During the last couple of hours, however, I have been getting the weirdest messages whenever I try to do anything:

What is this? Please, don't tell me my hard drive is about to go ape. What do I do?

Thanks!
