Recently, a number of string related problems were reported on the mailing list and I have prepared patches to fix the typos and bugs for both trunk and S2_1 (40684 to 40691, 40693, 40694, 40699). I have not yet commited the changes because doing so would result in about 22 more fuzzy strings, and not being completely familiar with the translators' workflow I was unsure if this would be a problem in the S2_1 branch.
I would like to have S2_1 ready for release in a few weeks (2.1.9); so my question is, would it bother anyone too much if I commit the string changes to S2_1 now? Also, should I take care in the future to avoid fuzzy strings in the "stable" branch? Or is some small number alright to introduce when making bug fix changes? Below is a summary of the translation status after running "make update-po" in S2_1 with all of the patches in the above mention tickets applied (T= translated, F=fuzzy, U=untranslated): ca: T=4263 F= 27 U= 2 de: T=4263 F= 27 U= 2 da: T=4256 F= 32 U= 4 sv: T=4242 F= 43 U= 7 fr: T=4107 F= 139 U= 46 ru: T=4025 F= 110 U= 157 et: T=3997 F= 120 U= 175 es: T=3931 F= 260 U= 101 ja: T=3917 F= 160 U= 215 tr: T=3903 F= 37 U= 352 nl: T=3898 F= 291 U= 103 fi: T=3708 F= 347 U= 237 pl: T=3416 F= 574 U= 302 ro: T=3402 F= 436 U= 454 zh_CN: T=3377 F= 532 U= 383 cs: T=3232 F= 558 U= 502 ar: T=3157 F= 934 U= 201 lt: T=3154 F= 122 U=1016 eo: T=3092 F= 254 U= 946 no: T=2994 F= 816 U= 482 nb: T=2994 F= 816 U= 482 it: T=2941 F= 842 U= 509 el: T=2509 F= 333 U=1450 pt_BR: T=2506 F=1162 U= 624 ko: T=2455 F= 10 U=1827 pt: T=2337 F=1170 U= 785 uk: T=2334 F=1155 U= 803 fa: T=2192 F= 144 U=1956 he: T=2169 F= 93 U=2030 hu: T=2056 F=1237 U= 999 en_GB: T= 73 F= 3 U=4216 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 統計の分析はどうですか。 _______________________________________________ Freeciv-i18n mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-i18n
