the command sourceforge gives for Read-Only access does work, but they are
still way behind.
svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/freecol/code/trunk freecol-code
does checkout revision 7503 atm, and it took about 20 minutes to get there
from rev 7356 .
