The repo has stabilized. I have successfully checked out the entire svn tree from the new location and it looks OK. I am currently pulling down a git tree (trunk only) using git's subversion adapter. If anyone wants to jump straight to git at this point:
git svn clone --username=mpope svn+ssh://mp...@svn.code.sf.net/p/freecol/code/freecol/trunk git is what I used (expect it to be slower than the corresponding svn checkout, distributed RCSs like git take an initial hit checking out the full project history). OTOH, you might want to wait until I get the full git functionality up as "git svn" has its quirks. Cheers, Mike Pope
