An open source version of MS-DOS? I highly doubt that. I disregard using the RxDOS 7.1.5 source not because it's commercial or whatever (it's not, 7.1.5 is GPL) but because it contains many bugs and even without those it won't be as compatible to MS-DOS as the recent versions of all other DOS kernels.
