Hello all,
Thank you. I have uploaded some packages for a gcc-ia16 toolchain, at
https://github.com/tkchia/build-ia16/releases/tag/20180612-redist-djgpp
. The toolchain requires a 32-bit machine to run, but the programs they
output will be 16-bit.
The current packages do not include some recent additions and bug fixes;
so I hope to upload a newer version of the packages soon.
(This is still very much an unofficial toolchain. I understand that Mr.
Jenner --- whom I forked the project from --- would like to properly
rethink and clean up some of the middle-end changes I made, before
submitting the port upstream to mainline GCC.)
Thank you!

I'd love to see these included in FreeDOS 1.3. I have had this on the
Contribute <http://www.freedos.org/contribute/> page for a while now:
*Create a DOS package of the GNU C Compiler (GCC) that is capable of
creating 16-bit DOS applications (no extender)*
That's TK Chia's gcc-ia16 port.

Are there any thought as to how TK Chia's gcc-i16 port [0] and Bart
Oldeman's patches [1][2] might fit into 1.3+ plans?
