     I not say that FDISK shouldn't be used with USB stick, I say, that disk
and diskette schemes are not interchangeable (unless you destroy previous
media content to prepare opposite scheme for use as opposite device).

     Of course - they works only with partitions (which you remove with
FDISK). Just recreate partition again. Or I not understand something?
