Well I have to say I disagree. First, in a fully connected graph you don't
need path compression. This must be true since path compression can't
occur in a fully connected graph. Second, path compression still occurs
between clusters. Third, since each node in a cluster is one hop away from
the gatway, path compression occuring between the gateway and other nodes
is only one hop worse than path compression occuring between the given
cluster node and other nodes.

I would say that not discovered == safe.
