I went through everything you said. I even hooked up another hard drive and 
loaded RH7.0 (thinking the 2.4 kernel might have something to do with it). I 
ran top and it showed one python thread for a few seconds, then nothing so I 
ran ps -A. I found 14 python processes running. Trying to go to 
localhost:8080/FreePM gave me an error once, but has since did nothing but 
hang as before. Still lost.
