Definitely one for an FAQ. It is documented but obviously not well enough or in the right places <s>. In order to see these sections of a patient record your user MUST have the Provider role. That role was specifically created so that you could further delineate access inside the patient record. So there is a role test in some code sections specifically for "Provider" or "Patient" roles. Any user that should have access to these areas of the record will have BOTH their role (nurse, physician, etc) and the Provider role.
