Good Evening,

I`m using fridays snapshot.

I`ve setup freeradius with eap-tls authentication. When using WEP with
802.1x everything works out.

Wenn switching to WPA with 802.1x I find this in the AccessPointLogs:

4 Jan 01 00:55:49 Information: WPA 4-way handshaking fails at
00-20-d8-03-af-ba
5 Jan 01 00:55:45 Debug: 802.1x Authentication Succeeded: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba

6 Jan 01 00:55:44 Notice: 802.11a:Station Associated: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba
7 Jan 01 00:55:44 Notice: 802.11a:Station Authenticated: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba
8 Jan 01 00:55:43 Information: WPA 4-way handshaking fails at
00-20-d8-03-af-ba
9 Jan 01 00:55:39 Debug: 802.1x Authentication Succeeded: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba

10 Jan 01 00:55:38 Notice: 802.11a:Station Associated: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba
11 Jan 01 00:55:38 Notice: 802.11a:Station Authenticated: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba
12 Jan 01 00:55:36 Information: WPA 4-way handshaking fails at
00-20-d8-03-af-ba
13 Jan 01 00:55:32 Debug: 802.1x Authentication Succeeded: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba

14 Jan 01 00:55:31 Notice: 802.11a:Station Associated: 00-20-d8-03-af-ba
15 Jan 01 00:55:31 Notice: 802.11a:Station Authenticated: 00-20-d8-03-af-

It seems that there is some problem with the WPA-Keys. Client and
AccessPoint have some problems in communication.

The Client or the AccessPoints then restarts the complete 802.1x process.
The Freeradius-Log fills up with repeating logins.

Does anyone habe any idea ? Is there from the view of freeradius a
difference between WEP and WPA ?

I have no idea, where to look ? Is this a problem in freeradius (Bug,
Misconfiguration) or a bug in the AccessPoint or the Client ?

Regards,
Robert M. Albrecht
