Hi Thomas,
no, the vertices do not correspond. Correspondence is established by the
spherical coordinates contained in [lr]h.sphere.reg. You can map to and
from any subject using mri_surf2surf.

Dear all,
We have processed two individual datasets using the whole pipeline. We have
recognized that the absolute number of generated vertices differs between the
two brains (130k per hemisphere vs. 155k per hemisphere). Our question is how
do the vertices from one brain correspond to those from the other brain? What
happens to the 25k vertices which differ between both brains?
Many thanks in advance for your answer!
Best Regards,
Thomas
