Yes. Alternatively, if you are using mris_preproc, you can add --etiv to the command line and it will do the correction by dividing by the eTIV (rather than using a regressor).

Hi all,

I'm currently running a voxelwise whole-brain analysis on my recon-all data using the procedure outlined here: *MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "secure-web.cisco.com" claiming to be* https://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/fswiki/FsTutorial/GroupAnalysis <https://secure-web.cisco.com/1ltFRrUt9VeFo_xsJaFu_MKrnVu0LBNxjHernMBBefXqT5CCzVNrV8hZhKoZ0JnzBjvW180TesX_tU8ytDxVloUWD2g7eTNMxEdQ95neKWaYEvJozye2t3UYz_hqTnq40dFM1sTopinYQV8XfNROAIBdnHAVassi66IyPv55OmhvGv4n1tO2lISyacFUzfDnMbqsFnSebOQjX-BX8EsoWjVr_hbgOuAPsypsqSF4OFrKxgxX2X7MKo83TT-oFvIXZ-QfgSFWzV5a2SzGMMRWf9Q/https%3A%2F%2Fsurfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu%2Ffswiki%2FFsTutorial%2FGroupAnalysis>

If I am performing this analysis on volume (not cortical thickness), do I need to include eTIV as a covariate in my FSGD file?

Thanks!
