The UNI scan will likely fail for the talairach. One thing you can try
is -samseg-reg, which will compute the tal reg using samseg (which will
be much more robust). However, it wont surprise me to see it fail
somewhere else along the stream.

Dear Freesurfer Developers,
I am currently running recon-all on a UNI scan. This scan has already
been partly preprocessed by a script called "presurfer". This
presurfered scan should work with recon-all (and it indeed works for
my colleagues). However, I have systematically an error when I try to
run recon-all on those files.
The error says:
"talairach_avi log file is transforms/talairach_avi.log...
Error:mpr2mni305 failed, see transforms/talairach_avi.log
Command exited with non-zero status 1".
I attached you the talairach_avi.log and the recon_all.log files.
1. Freesurfer version:
freesurfer-linux-ubuntu22_x86_64-7.4.1-20230614-7eb8460
2. Platform: Unbuntu 22.04
