The theory of operation is:
If you call ofdm_create() with a config of "nc" number of carriers equal to
0, then it will fill in the defaults of the original modem.
The way I did that was to just calloc() the structure before the call,
which sets everything to zero.
If you want an alternate modem, then you will have to fill in all the
values before the call to ofdm_create().
