That's a good idea, and probably should be a default, but because it's not as ubiquotous as id3, I wouldn't want to depend on it. Also, I like the human editable nature of XML, but it's something can be a user choice; currently, since there is no meta parser for video files, the xml is the quickest solution and is pretty trivial to implement, relatively. > Does anyone know if the video file formats (mpg, avi, ?) support > storing meta-data in them?
