As you probably guessed from the subject, I'm new to this list ;-)
I've been working on an up-to-date DXR3 video device patch for SDL,
based on the one from Jens Axboe (dated 2004) still floating around the web.
In case anyone still owns a DXR3 and wants to try it, here it is:

Tested with SDL 1.2.9, ffmpeg 20050918 on Ubuntu Dapper, and it seems to
work pretty well for me.
Only issue I'm seeing is the menu being "skippy" sometimes, i.e. I press
"down" -> nothing happens, press "down" again -> selection skips one
entry -- as if one frame of video was missing. Will test tomorrow with
X11 output to verify if this is related to the DXR3 output..
Please let me know if the patch works for you or if you encounter any
problems - improvements welcome :-)
