a dxr3 user who can code, just the person I'm looking for :)
You patch won't work with Freevo 2.0. The 2.0 release will be based on
kaa.canvas which is based on evas from the enlightenment
project. Because of that, we can only output on displays evas
supports: x11, x11 with opengl, fb and directfb. Evas also supports
output to a buffer we use to draw on top of a player.
It would be very cool if someone (you?) can provide a small piece of
code to render an evas buffer to a mpeg file. Based on that we can
support the DXR3 and possible other cards (full featured dvb
cards). Freevo SVN doesn't use kaa.canvas right now, but based on a
kaa.canvas example it should be possible to create such an output.
