I had to commit Wout's patches otherwise your patches will not succeed,
there need to be a fix here.

Questions:

1) how can the maximum client area when a browser is maximised be
determined. If this is not possible then the screen size needs to be
determined and then take away a bit for the window dressing.

2) how can the browser window be sized.

The bowser needs to be opened with a image, when the image is bigger
than the maximum size of the browser the image needs to be scaled to the
maximum area and then the browser needs to be resized to this area to
retain the aspect ratio.
