It is not a mixer.

I did not wrote it. There could be my name as maintainer but not as
first edition. If it is, it is a bug.

I have not forgotten what mixer.py does, it is just a volume control
and no real mixer. I do understand that.

No you have not, nobody is saying you did. But based on your post
someone had such idea. I had the problem that software mixing what you
want has no effect until I have an ac3 encoder in alsa. So the
discussion moved in one subthread into that.

And they don't have to. But you have to understand that we _did_ read
your postings but reading it gave us some other nice ideas what freevo
could do. Nobody wrote that your plugin has to do that, nor does
anyone think you will implement it. But many great idea come from
thinking one idea a bit further. Sometimes the result is useless,
sometimes it is not.

Again, we DO understand you. But it is a nice if SOMEONE would write a
