I'm running a Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2H for my Freevo box right now, and it's been
working perfectly with optical spdif and 1080p over HDMI. Sadly, it doesn't
appear to be available any more since the G4x motherboards were released.

However, I just bought a GA-EG43M-S2H, but not for Freevo, even though it has
spdif and HDMI/DVI. If you're willing to temporarily endure some video driver
growing pains (Mine is running in vesa atm, but other people are running with
the Intel driver just fine, I hear) you could go with one of those. I will
check the spdif output when I get home to make sure the audio is ok.

The G45 version adds some hardware-accelerated decoding features, which
probably won't work in Linux for a good while, but you really won't need it
considering what CPU you're planning to use.
