Yeah, thanks; I already figured out that one.  For now, I will keep using it 
that way (using the default "mixer" plugin).

Right now, I am fighting with the chan.logo problem.  (I am using 
nxtvepg, /tmp/TV.xml is updated, TV.xml.pickled has been deleted, tv_grab and 
schedulefavorites do not help, I stripped down my TV_CHANNELS, I don't know 
what's going on yet.)

Then I wonder why they both exist.

BTW: The same holds for mplayervis (three versions), lastfm (two versions), 
reencode (two versions, but at least one is marked 'old'), and probably some 
more.

I would really like to see such plugins either integrated (to combine all 
advantages, allow for auto-detection of e.g. alsa vs. oss, and possibly 
include meaningful configuration options instead of toggling plugins with 
very similar names) or better documented, so that a user can easily see which 
is the plugin he or she will want to use.
