Hi, I dont have this font. But since its not part of the runtime and the binary runtime works where the gentoo specific one does not I had discounted this.
I found a font cld arielbd.ttf renamed it and dropped it in. I dont know if this should work, but it didnt. Other than that, if someone can send me it off list or tell me where to get it I'll give it a try. Although I'd think it should work without as Dischi says. Dischi, do you run Gentoo with KEYWORDS='x86' ie unstable. If not, and you tell me wich packages maybe related, perhaps I could downgrade a few packages and try to see where our systems differ.
