So far it works good even if I didn't test every case.OGM with XVID or DivX and ogg audio works fine with xine and mplayer, Matroska with H264or Xvid or Divx an
But I have a playback problem with matroska : H264 video and AAC audio. It doesn't produce any sound with xine. It works fine with mplayer/linux and VLC/Win32.
The xine OSD says something like "Audio: ####auto, SPU: ####auto" Video is displayed ok and detected as expected : "H.264/AVC (ffmpeg) : ...'. Anyone heard of any problem with xine and AAC ? I tried to encode aac with both lavc audio and faac. mkvmerge is muxing them both well... and it only doesn't work with Xine.Another question : is there any standard couple of codecs used for Matroska files ?
