I wrote a program that allows you to change the volume and mute your soundcard with a nice OSD display. The advantage is that it will work while watching moviesing, listening to music, etc. and the volume setting / mute state is not forgotten like when you use the standard installation. http://www.mizrahi.com.ve/projects/airmix/ Project page: http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/airmix/ All you have to do is install it and run it in your freevo init script, I run it like this: airmix --daemon --color white Unfortunately I don't have any 64-bit RPM built yet, but the source is there and its really easy to build.
