What if the patches add features and those features get bugfixes,
cleanups, etc. over time (happens frequently). I can't think of a way to
extract those feature sets without lots of manual logs.
I don't know about those developers of FreeWRT that mentioned concerns
about this patch structure, but for me the benefits would never outweigh
the costs, since I'm totally used to having all the information on which
patch is intended to do what readily available. For me the overhead of
making properly structured patches is neglegible...
But that kind of stuff is up to you guys, I guess - so I won't bother
you with it anymore...
