I really like your programming work, Thorsten. But there are not
always technical reasons to have xyz done a way you do not like or
expect. The reason to make the init-scripts executable and to have a
she bang line is really simple.
Most of the Linux people in the world, expect to do
/etc/init.d/dropbear restart
That's all. I like your programming skills very much, that is the
reason, why you're working for my company. But if I have to ask
someone about usability aspects, you would be the last person on
the planet I would disturb with this question ;)
So please help all Linux noobs and experts and change the init
scripts again, to be executable and have the shebang line.
As reward you get a free sushi meal on friday.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Waldemar
EOT.
