Was that really you doing it? ;)

I think what Ralph meant was to install the iproute2 ipkg onto a system
using busybox ip applet. It's not too hard to first build and flash,
then reconfigure and build again, so it's rather likely that this will
be done. ;)
In my personal view it indeed is a problem getting rid of sometimes
really annoying busybox applets. Maybe we should think of a way to at
least being able to replace existing applets with the full version, as
the drawback of having an unnecessarily big busybox installed.
