I see two solutions for your problem. Either you could just use WDS
(Wireless Distribution System) between the WLAN routers or client
mode (STA). I think a meshing protocol wouldn't be useful here.
WDS is not a protocol and it depends which software runs on your
second router. So the best thing is to just use the FreeWRT router
as WLAN client with WPA-Personal and AES (CCMP) and just route the
PC1 and PC2. The client mode is documented in our handbook.
