I have seen artistic modifications to QR codes - things like the Go board, but also different colourations across a code, and even logos obscuring parts of the center (not sure how that works, I guess there is a lot of redundancy?) I think the most interesting was a QR cookie (I shall endeavor to find pictures). -Arlo James Barnes
