I just thought this might be an interesting conversation, especially for those of us outside of New Mexico. Basically you don't own your property completely, there is something called "Mineral Rights" .. which means you don't own your property "all the way down" .. if its on top of oil, uranium, etc .. the industries may have rights to that. Probably lost in history but basically its a sorta "commons" argument .. but silly. -- Owen
