Right, grubconfig does this. Do you have any better idea than the news
entry on the website?
At least on one of my boxes this did _not_ help! grubconfig did not add
a initrd automaticaly... in fact it _removed_ it, as I was using dracut
already.
Another issue was the switch from hda to sda (others might notice vice
versa).
I could boot the kernel but nothing else because my fstab was broken.
The systemd rescue system was unusable to fix this, I had to use some
Live CD.
(Might have something todo with "kbrequest.service not found", don't know)
My box uses now UUID based mounting (and root=, resume= in cmdline), to
fix this once and for all.
I would suggest some post-install script to to this for all current users.
It saved a lot of trouble.
What do you think?
