I'm just developing an proof of concept Central application for UTS for students to use but after reading the current discussion I'm not sure what licensing would apply. It's basically a timetable application that tells you what classes you have [and when they are on] and informs you of classes and time or room changes.
It was intended to be given to students for free and UTS wouldn't make any money from it [well not directly I guess you could say that by making it easier for students they would be saving money] and wouldn't requite "hosting" at macromedia. [However I would be paid for the development.] Anything other than a free licence will probably kill the project or rather I'll have to just write as as a ordinary flash application which want be as appealing.
Any ideas on what type of licence would be required for the above sort of application?
