I still think MM would benefit more longer term if there were no licensing requirements, and you made it so Central apps could only be developed under Player 7 specs and the MX 2004 pro IDE. The increased uptake of MX 2004 pro would go a long way to funding Central. This would be similar to the free flash player and buying the Flash IDE to develop Flash apps as we do now.
