So, let me ask you this.

Suppose someone adds an "ethical license" you don't agree with.  Would
you continue to work on FVWM?  On the assumption the answer is "no",
wouldn't you feel upset that someone had imposed their ethics on your
work, and had essentially co-opted all the hard work you've done on FVWM
over the years, so that you could no longer in good conscience work on
it?

And now that we have seen that all (?) of the other FVWM developers
don't agree with the inclusion of the license, and some don't agree with
the ethics behind it either, what should we do?  Surely these people
also feel like their hard work is being co-opted for purposes they don't
agree with, or at least in ways they don't agree with, and which are
completely unrelated to FVWM.

Hm.  So you believe it's OK to do this because everyone else objects to
the idea that FVWM is an appropriate forum for political statements and
so they won't take advantage of it, leaving you the only person who does?
