Hi Alan,

Are you trying to do a "test boot"? I used "test boot" to go from 3.6FCS3 to
3.6FCS7 and it worked. When I tried to do the same to go from 3.6FCS7 to
3.7v32, I got a ton of errors (can't find /image/testboot, page fault, etc.)
on the reboot. I went around and around with Nokia on it and finally tried a
test boot from FCS7 to FCS13, thinking there was a problem with 3.8b32. It
blew up too.

Then, just for the heck of it, I tried to do a test boot of the FCS13 image
that was already on the drive. I had been performing a fresh "ftp and test
reboot" each time. It worked perfectly! After passing this on to Nokia, they
advised that there was a bug in 3.6 where doing an "ftp and test boot" would
do exactly as I saw. They said I should have read the release notes. I did,
but apparently it is in the release notes somewhere between 3.6FCS8 and
3.7build 31 and I was supposed to read each and every one of them...

Anyway, try to boot to single mode via bootmanager (command prompt) and run
df -k there. If you are at 100% or greater, run fsck -y to fix the
errors. It's normal for /proc to be 100% full.

https://support.nokia.com/knowledge/resolutionView.jsp?ResolutionId=1767 has
the info on how to boot into single mode. On the IP440, the command is
simply -s whereas on other platforms it is boot -s

Sorry if some of this didn't apply to the IP440. It seems to be a totally
diferent animal from other platforms bcause I keep reading "except for the
IP440" in various documents.
