Not quite sure if G4 is certified yet, but I do think so. Atleast CP has a iso image for them and I've been using that for several months without any problem.
And we can't even buy G3 anymore so I would recommend buying G4. They are also much nicer by the fact that you can get redundant powersupply AND 2 quad card in them.
